About the destination

Catania, Sicily, Italy

Sicily's second-largest city, at the foot of Mount Etna. Its center was rebuilt in Baroque style after the 1693 earthquake, and many of its buildings are made of dark volcanic stone. It is part of the World Heritage Site of the Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto. Taormina is about an hour's drive north.
