Accessibility statement
I built PriceLog so it can be used with a keyboard alone and with zoom. This page lists what I did, what I tested and what I have not yet.
The standard
I built the site to the WCAG 2.2 guidelines at level AA, which include the requirements of the Israeli standard IS 5568.
What I did on the site
- Each page is marked with its language and direction: the Hebrew pages as Hebrew and right-to-left, the English pages as English and left-to-right, so a screen reader reads them in the right voice. Numbers, prices and addresses inside Hebrew text are marked separately, so they are not reversed. Links to a page in the other language say so.
- Everything can be done from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing on every page.
- A continuous heading structure, and marked regions for the header, navigation, content and footer.
- Contrast of at least 4.5:1 for all regular text, and at least 3:1 for large text and the marks in the chart.
- Zoom up to 200% and narrow screens without horizontal scrolling. Links and buttons are at least 44 pixels tall.
- There are no pop-ups, and no JavaScript or forms, except for the search engine on the search pages and the home pages. There, a regular button turns on the engine; the engine itself is not mine (see "Content outside my control"). After the click, keyboard focus moves to the search area. Motion on the site runs once, never in a loop, and lasts no longer than a second and a half. All of it turns off when you ask your operating system to reduce motion.
What was tested, and when
On 6 Oct 2026 I did a self-assessment: a review of the code against the standard's guidelines, and a calculation of the contrast ratios from the site's colors. I fixed the two small problems I found. That review was done on the site's previous design. I have not yet reviewed the current design, from 7 Oct 2026, the same way, nor the English pages, from 15 Oct 2026.
Known limitations
- I have not yet tested the site by hand with a screen reader.
- Each flight's page has a price chart. Everything the chart shows — the price, the median and how many prices it is built from — also appears as text.
- Telegram posts from before 15 Oct 2026 are in Hebrew only.
Content outside my control
The Telegram channel, and the search and booking site that a flight page's booking button leads to, are other people's sites. Their accessibility is their responsibility.
The search form and search results on the search pages and the home pages are a search engine from Travelpayouts, shown inside the page. I chose its colors, but I do not write its structure, text or behavior and cannot fix them, and I have not tested it against the standard. If it is not accessible to you, write to me and I will pass the problem on to the provider. The flights PriceLog found are also shown without it, on the flights found page.
Run into a problem?
If something on the site is not accessible to you, write to me, Shlomo, the person responsible for the site: contact@pricelog.fyi. Say which page, what you tried to do, and which browser or assistive technology you used. I will answer within 14 days.
